Cameron M. Brown is a filmmaker, producer, and cinematographer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and a recent graduate from Tulane University. He has received three official selections from the New Orleans Film Festival, recently worked on HBO’s environmental documentary “The Welcome Table” as an Associate Producer, and worked as a Development Intern for Josh Penn’s Serenade Films. Film and media’s ability to correct and subvert harmful narratives drives Cameron to create bold, emotionally true films that connect with his queer, southern Louisiana identity. He firmly believes in the power of whimsical, LGBT youth-centered storytelling to bring laughter, warmth, and truth to an unrelentingly dire, sinister world.
